Philly stand up! If you've been following different artists on this site you would notice a few Philly hip hop groups doing big things. The wave of talent coming out in Pennsylvania, (Philly & Pittsburgh mostly) is insane. Another group about to get their name out there more is the trio Ground Up. The group consists of a producer and two MC's.
Since coming together in 2008, Ground Up has found themselves opening for Rick Ross, Chiddy Bang, The Nappy Roots, Meek Millz, Gucci Mane, and Chris Webby. Besides that, they have released a total of 7 mixtapes, with a eighth one on the way in the beginning of April. The new tape will be called Up Late and is hosted by DJ Don Cannon.
