Remember when you first heard The Shins in the movie Garden State? The jam was called "New Slang," and it was one of those songs you could never get tired of. While "New Slang" came out a few years before the movie, it certainly pushed them to a lot more exposure. Their last album was in 2007 called Wincing the Night Away and featured one of my favorite songs, "Phantom Limb." Lately, I've been wondering what happened to this band and I've heard that a new album is coming in 2012. Figured I remind you all how great this band is.
