I saw this track poppin' up on the web yesterday, so thought I would share. New York indie band, Beach Fossils, had mentioned a more "edgy" sound with their upcoming material, but with "Shallow" off their latest 7” single on Captured Tracks, it was pretty much what Beach Fossils sounded like before. Now, that's not really a bad thing, but hearing that they wanted to try some new sounds and get the same thing kind makes you go "huh?" However, the b-side "Lessons" has a darker tone and as the song continues we hear them trying that promised new stuff. Listen below.
