I'm not really all about the hype of Odd Future nor am I really involved in their music. I respect their hip hop movement though. I think out of the group I enjoy some of Tyler, The Creator's work, Frank Ocean, and most of Hodgy Beats stuff, but then you have the young Earl Sweatshirt. The kid was sent to some sort of reform school in Samoa and rumors swirled that Earl was finally back home yesterday. He has a suppose Twitter account, but this time, it might be true.
Whoever is running that Twitter count, stated at 50k followers a new song would drop, sure enough after a few hours it hit that number, now approaching 80k! The appropriately titled song, "Home" was released and most definitely is Earl, but is he actually home and is this song really new? I kind of have this feeling Earl never went anywhere and this is just a ingenious marketing scheme. Meh, either way check out the new song. What are your thoughts?
