I've been digging Purity Ring's music ever since the Canadian electro-pop duo's first song, "Ungirthed", dropped last year. Their unique blend of genres and styles really grabs your attention and their pop sensibilities keep you listening. I saw them play in Cleveland last fall, so I know they have a lot of really good new songs to release yet. This new one, called "Obedear", comes with the announcement of their debut album, Shrines, out July 24 on 4AD and Last Gang. The album artwork is above. Listen and download below.
