Yes yes, I know this was all the buzz yesterday, but as I've mentioned before I try to digest new songs before I post it. Sometimes that goes against me, but I don't care much. Now to the post, Cat Power has returned from a six year absence with a new song called "Ruin," and the title of her upcoming album is called Sun.
This new album apparently was recorded in all aspects of the world, so it will be interesting to hear the kind of influences in her songs, but "Ruin" is an upbeat track that really deserves numerous plays. Stream the single below and the album is out September 4th.
