If you are on Twitter you might have noticed Grizzly Bear trending not long ago and basically every music site talking about the band. Why? Because they finally have a new song called "Sleeping Ute" the follow up to 2009's Vecktameist. The track is a cluster of cymbal crashes and awesome guitar work -- needless to say there was a reason people were talking about this new jam. The song definitely takes on some experimental aspects, but its a fun song all the way through the almost 5 minute running time.
I'm not sure any song can top this one so far this week, but it is only Tuesday so we'll see. Their current untitled album is looking at a September 18th release date on Warp, but for now you can listen to "Sleeping Ute" and check out the tracklist for the album.
Fresh?
