I'm all about the discover of new and entertaining bands, if you haven't noticed it is sort of my thing. So when I came across Swedish band The Royal Concept, formally just The Concept, I knew I had found something good. The sound is pretty similar to another great band Phoenix, but of course they have their own style blended in. Towards the end of 2011, their song "Gimme Twice" was making it's rounds on the Internet and The Hype Machine, but just a few days ago they released The Royal Concept EP featuring five addicting tracks, which you can stream below.
