Here's a treat for you this beautiful Tuesday afternoon (at least it's beautiful here in Western PA). If you missed it last night, the incredible Fiona Apple (is there any other way to describe her?) performed on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Not only did she rock the house with an awesome performance of the awesome "Anything We Want" from her awesome new album The Idler Wheel..., but she also did a rocking performance of Paul McCartney's "Let Me Roll It" in honor of his 70th birthday. Both songs were backed by The Roots and Fallon even jumped in on harmony at the end of "Let Me Roll It." Apple was also interviewed by Fallon and while she was typically awkward and quirky in the interview, her and Fallon have a great chemistry together. Their humble personalities complimented each other so nicely I kind of wish she was on the show all the time. Anyway, it was great episode of Fallon watch Apple's interview and two performances below.
Fresh?
