BACK ON THE SCENE! CRISPY AND CLEAN! Slaughterhouse could possibly be the most epically unreal hip-hop super group I've come across. "My Life" samples Corona's "Rhythm of the Night" and the often times unimpressive dub-step/auto-tune mashup that makes up moist of so called "rap" music nowadays. Flinging sarcasm every which they can, the group does its best to mock the overstuffed and over hyped rap of this generation, going above and beyond the call of duty with the cartoonish special effects, the semi-electronic natural timbre of Cee Lo Green and the comedic genius of Eminem to paint their picture in stark fashion.
Of course, all that is undercut by the emcees' undeniable flow and lyrical perfection. "This is my muthafuckin' life", indeed.
