Chicago new-wave quartet California Wives has releases a new track called "Purple," although they released a newer one a few months ago, "Marianne," which I missed. So I have both tracks up for streaming and to download for free. These songs will be on their anticipated debut album Art History via Vagrant. The band worked with producer Claudius Mittendorfer (Interpol, Neon Indian,Wild Nothing), and the album features eleven tracks, presenting a mix of modern-day pop framed with a retro '80s sound. Give these tunes a spin below.
