Flea - "Pedestal of Infamy"

I'm sure almost everyone will recognize the great bass player of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea, or Michael Balzary as his government handle would say. He has been probably the most energetic and wild member of the band, but can also slap the shit out of his bass. During the recent break that RHCP has taken, Flea took it upon himself to go back to school to increase his music knowledge, which I can respect him for that. While doing so, he ended up working on some solo material and the first single is "Pedestal of Infamy." This is off the EP Helen Burns, which is now out. The song has quite the opposite sound of RHCP's, with a more chilled and layered track of sounds. It's relaxing song, with sort of a tropical vibe to it. Listen to the single below and if you dig the sound, pick up his EP.

Fresh?
