The track "Silver Springs" was originally recorded way back in 1977, 11 years prior to my birth for Fleetwood Mac's album Rumours. The song certainly dives into the theme of heartbreak, but its a beautiful song nonetheless. So it only seems to be fitting that the lovely Swedish singer Lykke Li would cover this song with her own sensitivity and earthy vocals to it. You can stream both the original and Lykke Li’s version, which comes out August 14th on the tribute album of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest hits, Just Tell Me That You Want Me.
