Eventhough I sometimes get pretty annoyed with Pitchfork, they still tend to lead me to find music that I never knew much about prior. That's where indie/ambient musician Nick Principe or Port St. Willow comes in and his debut album Holiday. The album came out in mid-May, but reading the album review on P4K reminded me about the record. Principe wrote, recorded, and produced his LP, which finds the ambient sounds taking on a more atmospheric and even experimental tone at times. This is a great debut and I'm looking forward to diving in this record more.
