What are some elements of a song that make it interesting to you? Usually it's the genre, maybe the melodies, lyrics, vocals, etc. Yet, this all seems to describe the 5 piece band from Brooklyn called Desert Stars. Currently, they are in the studio recording their debut, full-length album that is not due until Spring 2013. Yet, the dreamy pop music with shoe-gaze elements is in full effect on their song "Boys I Like," which now has a video. It's also their first video, so it is a big step for the band. The effects in the visual match the song and it's simplicity is a great touch.
