You know, running a music site opens your ears to so many more styles and genres that you generally wouldn't of listened to before. I guess it lets your mind realize all the potential of musicians and to give something you normally wouldn't listen to a chance. I say this because although I like Jazzy hip hop beats, I've never grown into listening to straight up Jazz. But with Diggs Duke's latest Mass Exodus EP, I feel like this is something I could get really into. The DC native release only 4 tracks on this EP, but it is all original material. He also plays bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, banjo, electric Piano, acoustic piano, trumpet, alto saxophone, djembe, shekere, wood blocks and drum machine. Wow. Check out his EP of soul, R&B, and jazz below.
