The Gaslamp Killer - "Flange Face" ft. Miguel Atwood-Ferguson

Hello Oh So Fresh!  Long time, no ... write.  I haven't written anything in awhile because of personal life distractions, but I'm back for now. Here's a song that I had been meaning to write about a few weeks ago, but I'm just getting around to it now.  This new tune from The Gaslamp Killer is another addition to the already long list of awesome music being put out by FlyLo's brainfeeder label.  Gaslamp Killer first gained some buzz back in 2010 when he produced 17 of the 20 songs on Gonjasufi's debut, A Sufi and a Killer.  Still a favorite of mine because I like crazy experimental stuff like that.  This new one, "Flange Face", from Gaslamp's upcoming debut album, Breakthrough, could also be in that category, but it's one hell of an experimental jam.  The song is driven by a distorted, BASSY beat and accompanied by very intense string work from Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.  It sounds awesome bumping through a good sound system.  It draws you in, disorients the shit out of you and also hits every pleasure center a song like this should.  I always have to listen to it twice because as soon as it's over, I want more.  Listen below.

Fresh?
