Kendrick Lamar probably should be one of your favorite rappers, if not in the top 5 currently. Every song he rips up with his monster flow and wordplay. However, most of the time the videos that are released for these songs tend to be pretty bland. In a way it's not a bad thing because the actual song is what should make it popular, not some viral video, but I do appreciate some good videos as well. Sort of a contradiction, but I think you get what I'm trying to say.
"Swimming Pools (Drank)" is the first single off his upcoming major label debut album, which is pretty exciting. We initially heard this song a few weeks back and now the video is out. As I said it sort of continues his not-so-interesting-video collection, but that's okay. Later today, this video will be premiering on BET's 106 and Park, so if you are interested check that out.
