Lupe Fiasco offers up his now fourth single from the upcoming and anticipated album, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1. Last week we got the video for his more sensitive and somewhat controversial song "Bitch Bad," but this week is a more mellow video for "Battle Scars." The track features Australian singer/producer Guy Sebastian, who adds a nice touch to the track. Watch below and stay tuned for another single being released before the album drops on September 25th.

The song is actually released in the US as Lupe Fiasco & Guy Sebastian, not Lupe Fiasco featuring Guy Sebastian. It was released in Australia as featuring Lupe, as it is actually Guy's own song and was the third single dropped from his upcoming 7th album Armageddon. He wrote and recorded it leaving spaces where he thought the rap should go, and then submitted it to Lupe in the hope he would agree write and perform the rap. He didn't really think Lupe would do it, but as it turned out he did. Lupe then decided to add it to his own album and release it as the fourth single. And now it is tearing up US iTunes. I have been waiting for years for Guy to get a break in America. Glad it looks like it is finally going to happen thanks to Lupe.
