Yellow Red Sparks - "Monsters with Misdemeanors"

So this post makes sense because I'm a pretty big fan of folk/indie music and because Yellow Red Sparks are pretty damn good. The project was initially a solo effort from Yellow Pine, Idaho bred and Southern California resident songwriter Joshua Hanson. Since his self released solo EP, Simply Put ME In YOUR Place, he has added two more members to create a trio.

The band has recently completed their first full-length record which was produced by Ted Hutt (Gaslight Anthem, Lucero, Flogging Molly), mixed by Grammy award winner, Ryan Hewitt (Avett Brothers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, We Are Scientists), and mastered by multi-Grammy award winner, Brian Lucey (The Shins, Sigur Rós, The Black Keys). So there is some damn good quality on this and one of the tracks "Monsters with Misdemeanors" is a straight beauty. Listen below.

Fresh? Yes. Today I have been toggling back and forth between this song and The Neighbourhood's song, "Let It Go." Both songs are indie-rock gems of right now.
^ Just in case you want to hear something else Fresh. =)
