Honestly, sometimes it just takes an interesting band name to really capture my attention and read a full email. And Toronto native/current Berlin resident Tobin Stewart did just that when he introduced me to his band Carpet of Horses. He described the sound as a mix of folk, rock, and experimental, but I can also hear some pop elements. Yet, this blend works to their favor and creates a very interesting sound on their It's Only Light EP, which came out back in October. The tracks on this EP will make you feel an array of emotions, but only in a good way. Stream it below.
