Polytype consists of four musicians who enjoy synthesizers, computers, and guitars, but use each piece to create music with a truly interesting sound. "Refract" is the first single off their upcoming album Basic//Complex, due for release February 2013. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the relaxing electronic sounds that were soothing in the instrumental, but the crisp vocals sealed it for me. You can stream and download the song below.
