I stumbled up producer Thomas Prime on Youtube and the song was "Believe In Us" featuring rapper Awon off the album Love Supersedes II. I instantly fell in love with the beat, which had a classic underground sound and some high pitched vocal sample. Yet Awon kills shit too, so I had to look up where this music was from and came across the record, which also features Kameleon Beats.
The trio teamed up to create 24 tracks, with the A-side being produced entirely by Prime and the B-side produced by Kameleon beats, but Awon spittin' on them all. If you like a different type of hip hop from the stuff you hear in the mainstream, then this album is it. Stream it below.
